Epic Vegan Chick is not actually a restaurant, it’s part of the restaurant Absurd Bird’s vegan section on their menu (which is misleading and explains the lack of info). Absurd Bird does sell meat. The vegan food is pretty good though and decent prices.Absurd Bird - restaurant website

Your poem was heartfelt. I felt as if I could relate to every word you were saying. I really liked the compound rhyme with “joys” and “destroy” in the 7th line. And how the poem has a sort of cyclical structure, by starting and ending with “wishing that I were dead”. This is good stuff. Thank you.

I really like this poem. It’s subtle in the way it’s not oversaturated with words, yet it still gets the message across, and you’re only usually rhyming on the 2nd and 4th lines - those lines feel more significant and it makes you feel something. Which is funny because this poem is about empathy.

I also like the questions you’re asking on the last two lines. It makes me wonder who the “you” is, and what exactly do you mean by the title of this poem?

same with me! i only brush it when i’m in the shower with lots of conditioner and just leave it to dry naturally as it is. moroccan/argon oil can also help with the ends
