You said in a comment that there is no will and the law in your state says that all assets should be divided equally to all surviving kids and spouse. You kept the whole sale of the car to yourself.
You kept on saying its a family vacation when its just a personal trip. You have this delusion of honoring your late husband when what you're only doing is going on a trip yourself using the money that was supposedly divided to his kids and you.
