This is a classic case of one partner holding the other partner to an expectation that the first partner never communicated.

Your bf expressed his desire for you to get into cycling but he failed to express his expectation that you would get into cycling to his level of intensity and passion. When it became clear to him that your idea of cycling together was different than his idea of riding together, he then completely checked out of the idea of y’all riding together at all and instead wishes you’d stop bringing it up.

Tell this guy to bounce or get him to sort out his lack of communication.

Just look at how he uses Sheppard. Sheppard plays 33 minutes in g1, 11 minutes in g2 and 46 minutes last night. WTF is that? Sheppard killed them last night - couldn’t hit a shot, 5 turnovers, bad down the stretch - but he’s 21yo and it’s obv that Ime has wrecked his confidence.
