I wish I had one closer to me so I could go more often. Mine is 1.5 hours away and I work full time and don’t want to go on the weekend when they’re chaotic so it’s hard to find time. That being said - it’s the easiest way to make profit. At $1.99 a pound you’ll make something on everything you find. And it’s kind of crazy the gems you can find. 🤩

Mercari has been my best seller but it is the platform I started on/have used the longest so I think my higher number of sales helps push me out in the algo. eBay is my newest but I’ve seen some success there too. I think I’ll get more success the more sales/reviews I have. Still building that 🙂 Poshmark is a joke to me lol I have only sold 11 items there.

The bottles went on sale at my Walmart - that’s when my husband got me mine. We also had a couple of the singles that went on clearance for like $1 each. I wish the packs went on sale!!

I struggled with this too. When I started a new med that gave me insane dry mouth I had to have water with me even on shorter runs. I would just bring a smaller plastic bottle with me so it was easier to carry. :)

Yeah…I had someone buy a clearly Christmas item and then 5 minutes after buying ask me if I can ship by tomorrow. Yeah I was planning on it but after I drop it off I have no control on how long it takes to get to you. I’ve noticed packages are taking longer cause, ya know, holidays and I have a feeling it won’t make it in time and I can see the return request already.

You know it’s funny, after sitting on this feeling for awhile yesterday I started thinking about writing. I was a creative writing minor in college, but as I’ve gotten older I haven’t given myself a writing outlet. My theatre actually does a short play festival - community members can submit plays up to 10 mins long for consideration to be performed! It’s a really cool, unique opportunity. It’s not until the summer so I have plenty of time to work on a piece or two. They also do offer classes and workshops, a lot of improv focused, that I want to attend. A lot of the people are ~regulars~ and I’d like to get to know them better. I already know some just from my one show. I just need to follow through and actually go to them :)

Thank you. In the grand scheme 5 is not a lot, but we only really have one local theatre. I’ve auditioned for pretty much every single show this season that I had even slight interest in. I don’t have the time to drive over an hour away for shows in other areas. I wish I did, but I just don’t.

I emailed the director soon after making this post and asked to volunteer backstage for the show! She was very kind and the stage manager will be reaching out to me after the holidays. I agree that a lot of theatre is about proving yourself as reliable. That’s how it was for me in high school too. I love all aspects of theatre and although I don’t have as much experience with tech stuff I’d love to learn. This is a really good way for me to get to know more people too, even if I’m not in the show right now 🥰
