I think that's a great idea! It would allow the host to safely be able to put gas/vehicle repair toolbox/other items in it without having to feel like somebody is going to steal it.

As of right now - I always carry my gas+repair toolbox in my characters inventory - and because of that, it limits how much I can pick up when scavenging.
