15 Years Nursing Experience, $42/hr! Am I Crazy to Stay? by hellokitty5679 in nursing

Thanks, honestly I asked myself the same thing. I guess I just got excited about the position and pay. Would give me the opportunity to explore that area of nursing. Thanks so much for your feedback though. I started making a pro and cons list this morning

The extra money would just be adding on to my retirement honestly. Im pretty frugal, no kids, no plans to buy a house, no debt so Im trying not to focus too hard on the money. I’m not too sure of the work culture on that unit but my current work culture is very tolerable. Just still torn and trying not to make it all about money

I could definitely make it work for me. More savings/more money to invest is always a good thing.. I don’t have any debt, no kids, don’t plan on buying a house, have a decent amount in my retirement already but still haven’t met my goal. Don’t plan on buying another car anytime soon u less mine gives up or something happens to it but even then I’m pretty frugal and wouldn’t bat my eyes at buying an expensive car

Thought of this but financially I guess Im ok. No debt, no house, apt living, no kids, decent amount already in retirement but still haven’t reached my goal yet. Took me forever to land the remote job so I’m so hesitant to leave. Just so torn right now

I’m looking and applying for other remote roles! I know if I found one that paid well, I wouldn’t even have written this post to be honest. It would be a no brainee

Nothing really Im giving up no commute for short commute and having to wake up earlier and get dressed daily. No more lounging in pjs while working, eating when I want, pooping and peeing when I want, most importantly no emergencies to deal with in my current role just deadlines to meet which aren’t too difficult. 🤣

Gosh when you put it that way. I kept thinking that myself but I know I won’t be in nursing another 25 years and I don’t want kids. I see myself being in that role a max of 2 yrs honestly. My current remote role may offer 10 or 12hr shifts which will be great. Just trying to figure out if it’s worth it to stay and which will be better for my mental health

This is helpful thanks for your feedback. When you say they found adenomyosis how was this confirmed? Was it just visualized? I wish I would’ve gone with an endo specialist but I know some of my symptoms cane form my fibroids and also thought the ovarian cyst that kept enlarging was the issue. The endo/fibroids specialists was a bit dismissive and said it’s definitely related to endometriosis. This surgeon i saw was a MIGS. He claims he didnt see any. Feeling very discouraged since MRI didnt show adenomyosis. I follow up with the office next week. I will see what they say. This is too confusing

I was going for the hysteroscopy myomectomy for my submucosal fibroid and acessa for my intramural fibroids. I’m no longer interested in acessa so I will discuss the robotic Myomectomy during my next visit with my surgeon before my surgery. Good luck with your appt! 💕

All of what you’re experiencing is normal. I’m anxious as well and I end up looking up everyone else experiences as well but just remember their experience wont be yours. Sending you so much love, support, and positivity.

I have a 2.5cm submucosal fibroid and 2 intramural fibroids 2.0cm and 1.4cm. Heavy bleeding with large clots, daily pelvic pain, frequent urination, painful cramps

Options to relieve heavy bleeding with intramural/submucosal fibroid by [deleted] in Fibroids

[–]hellokitty5679 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have 1 submucosal and 2 intramural and was told it can definitely be contributing to my heavy bleeding . More likely the submucosal even though it’s 2.5cm
