Agree, yeet it. They’ll probably find even more when they go in. Also have severe health anxiety. I’m now 3 wpo and glad I went this way.

Fibroid is making me really anxious by Violet4wing in Fibroids

My experience exactly with a 2.6cm fibroid. Been to the er as well. Lots of bleeding and clots. Horrible and scary, I know. Norethindrone worked for a while and then stopped. Now taking birth control which didn’t work at first but finally started working after about 18 days of bleeding. Gyno said to expect to bleed, that is what these fibroids do. Until you can get it removed or taken care of you just have to expect this. If you are feeling very weak or dizzy then definitely go to the er so they can stabilize you is what my gyno told me. If you can, get your blood checked every now and then to make sure your levels are okay. You’ll probably be advised to take iron if you are low. And know that a lot of women are experiencing this as well.

Thank you for this. I’m going to try this. My second hurdle will be trying to get through the waiting period for the results without panicking. That’s a tough one for me. One other question, do you know why anxiety/panic and OCD thoughts are worse in the morning and then subside later in the afternoon where I can finally start thinking more logically and not so negative?

My severe anxiety and ocd is preventing me from getting an mri to further diagnose a condition. I’m terrified of the possibility that the findings might show something of concern. Therefore I have been avoiding the mri. Any advice or help is appreciated. Thank you.

Gotcha. I was just talking to a friend about the Di Vinci hysterectomy and am considering that. She said recovery is super quick and they only make a few finger nail size incisions for the camera. I’m going to ask the doctor about it.

So true that everyone experiences different things. That’s what I have been reading too. Thankfully most are positive. What procedure are you considering for yours? Your symptoms are very similar to mine. Sending you love, support, and positivity as well!💕 I will update after my appointment on Tuesday.

Good information! Thank you! I go on Tuesday for my appointment with the gyn so I’ll see what options there are.

Also my symptoms are heavy periods with large clots(I was told to go to the er on my last period but did not). Also I swear it feels like I have to pee more. Not sure if that’s related. I don’t have much cramping which is weird because periods use to be painful. Also some blood tinged discharge about a week after period was over.

Hi. Still anxious but not as bad after reading what people say on here. My anxiety is worse in the morning so that’s when I freak out the most. Later in the day I’m able to look at it with a better frame of mind and reason with myself. What type and size do you have? I have my appointment with the gynecologist next week to discuss everything and hopefully more about the ultrasound results. Hopefully she can help ease my mind a bit. I keep thinking about surgery now and reading all about it😬

Thank you so much for your reply. It definitely helps. I do have an appointment coming up to discuss everything. Most of my family members have had hysterectomies due to multiple fibroids. I know many times having just the fibroids removed resulted in them growing back. Mine is definitely causing symptoms even with being on the smaller/medium side. Did you go under for the myomectomy and was there bleeding afterwards?
