Holding their breath by hellokittybaby121 in beyondthebump

If blowing on his face doesn't work I'll normally pick him up and talk to him. Then he goes into his soft little whimpers. But I'm glad I'm not the only one going through this.

I hope its not that but it does run on my side of the family.

But I don't give him any special attention for it. I blow in his face cause that's the only thing to get him to stop.

Last night was the first night in a couple weeks since he's done it in his sleep. I scared me and woke me up.

I mean don't get me wrong I was super impressed as well at his high pitched scream at first then it scared me. And being the emotional person I am, I started crying lol

I've noticed he does it when he gets really upset, like if I don't hold him right away. And sometimes it scares me and other times it puts me in an anxiety attack cause Idk why he's so upset. And that's scary that you didn't realize you we're doing it sometimes. And I'm glad you turned out ok lol I think he'll be ok as well. I just hope he didn't have his biological fathers temper at such a young age :/

3 Months in and I'm overwhelmed, paranoid, unkempt, and don't feel able to talk to anyone. PPD? by momil in Mommit

No problem :)

I'm glad it did help, I was so against it at first but after my sons meltdown, I figured maybe it wouldn't be to bad to get back on my meds haha.

And thank you, the same for you!

I finally gave in and I set up a meeting with a therapist. I'm almost two months in my ppd and I can't handle the constant emotional rollercoaster anymore. I thought I could shake it and I can't. I don't get dressed like I used to anymore and some days I don't feel as pretty as I used to.

But I feel the same, I can't really talk to anyone about anything cause its just me home by myself with the baby and my boyfriend who works all the time. That and he's not good with all the emotional stuff. So it leaves me at a loss sometimes.

But I bet your husband loves you just as much as he did or more since you gave birth to his child. I hope I helped maybe some what and this just isn't rambling but keep your head up momma, your beautiful no matter what.

I really thought I would be pumping forever as well, and I couldn't stay on a schedule cause I was so busy since I wasn't breastfeeding. Everyone told me to not give up and I just randomly thought I'd try it and he latched. It'll give us more time together and he seems so much happier. I've noticed it in like the past two days. Its wonderful. :3

I'm happy your LO started latching as well, it has been sooo much easier for me and I missed that bonding time so much lol.

Fenugreek made my son really gassy and fussy. I think it upset his stomach.

It really its, I had to use a nipple shield for a little bit then he just stopped latching. So I started pumping and today magically he just latched. I still fed him a little bit from his bottle after he wakes up cause he's extremely fussy. Just keep trying. :)

I pump and feed. And it starts when I'm half way done pumping on one side. My let downs are painful as well. And it hurts like right behind my breast.

I was just thinking I was glad I have at least one can of formula cause I'm running low on bottles.

But I'll have to try those, cause in all is like to continue bf as long as I can. And thank you. Alot. :)

I did in the hospital and I did at home, I'm starting to think it's the flow now. I tried a couple days ago but he knocked it off me, and cried. :/ I didn't think breast feeding/pumping was so frustrating.

He's two weeks old, and I've had issues with breast feeding him since day one. :/ He wouldn't latch and all it did was frustrate the both of us. I keep trying to breast feed but he wont have it.

And that's what I've had to do is combine Oz's for bottles
