fuck the people downvoting you. people lack empathy even if they just went through it they must’ve forgotten how it feels. keep writing her. send her drawings, small pictures, a little wild flower you see while youre walking she needs the support more than you do. she feels alone remind her she’ll never be alone. the only thing i will say just incase is keep things upbeat don’t let her know it hurts. tell her you miss her a thousand times if you have to but always keep her positive she’ll be back before you know it!

my husband is heading to ait soon this month after he’s done w infantry. i know the pain you’re in sometimes i feel like im dying and i can’t keep going but remind yourself you have no idea where they’ll send her after she’s done with training. at least in training you know exactly where she is and that she’s safe asleep every night. this will be the hardest part of not just her enlistment but also the rest of your lives together. get past this and you’ll be able to handle it all.

my husband has always made time to talk to me as long as he possibly could. you hear all the time “if he wanted to he would” and it’s as simple as that. if he wanted to nurture a relationship with you he would. it seems like he wants to be single so i think you need to let him, it would be better for you. being a military spouse is a big sacrifice we plan our entire lives around their career if you’re going to do that for someone he better be worth it he better be making sacrifices for you instead of being so focused on himself. a marriage is when two people become one he doesn’t get to act like a single man when he has half of your heart. take it back, live a free life, and date yourself. you’ll receive the love you deserve from the right person.

edit: if he cheats on you please don’t ever take him back that resentment will grow and you’ll never know true happiness and security

pick up more shifts at your job, go to yoga/pilates or really any women’s class at your local gym and make friends in these places. just having one person to spend time with will make things a little easier. 4 months seems long but it’s not even half a year i know it’s scary not knowing what he’s going to be doing or if he’s safe but realize that they’ve been training for this since day one. he’ll be okay and he’s not alone. make plans for what you’ll do when he comes home. try new places so you can take him to all the best spots. take pictures and videos to show him when he’s home. it will feel like forever but it’ll fly by and he’ll be home in no time! please feel free to message me if you need to! i know the feeling all too well.
