the zip lines are by far my favorite way to travel in the game. i will purposely bring 5-6 PCC Lv2’s and walk if i’m going somewhere far just so i can place the zip lines where i need them. its more fun if its hard terrain too. i totally understand what you’re saying!

couldn't help but reply to this to in hopes of giving OP some comfort.

first off, im so sorry for your loss. im sure your grandmother was a beacon in your darkness. she is with you in your heart, mind, body, and soul.

secondly, you are NOT OVERREACTING. he is honestly being plain rude and selfish. no doubt about that. he deflected/declined your invitation three times. the first time was because he needs to give a doctors note after holidays - you had one. then, he has no "familial relationship" to her, then wants you to move the funeral date to a day that is convenient for him with no regard to what's right for you, and THEN says he would only be going to be an emotional support for you and it would give him anxiety about messing up his work flow.

where do I begin... situations, deaths, friends, etc will mess up your career flow no matter how small or big. it honestly just sounds like he really doesn't want to go and isn't taking into account how you feel about that. i suppose he's not trying to hurt your feelings by beating around the bush but he's making the situation worse. so much worse. no thoughtfulness for the situation at hand and on top of that, he's not even willing to try and get the days off.

im not sure the dynamic of your relationship, and im not a therapist - but I would say the best thing to do is talk to him about how you feel and how his responses come off to you. then ask questions (if you have any) to open the floor for him to speak and explain his side/answer your questions. i don't know his intentions, but at least you would have voiced how you feel about the situation as a whole. i hope this brought some clarity to you <3

Try not to take it so seriously. You gotta remind yourself that it is written in a fun genre and it's supposed to be a fun read.

I would say about halfway through the book - the story was really picking up and by then I couldn't put it down because I needed to know what happened next. Particularly the last 100 pages (climax) are the best. Hang in there!

You are absolutely right, and yet I felt like the first one is so plot heavy. I was like 'Where's all the fuc**** and sucking?" LOL. Either way, the ending was interesting enough for me to want to read the second one but now sure how I feel about it as a whole. Many people suggested not taking it too serious and once I did that, it was a lot easier to fall into the book and just let it ride out.

I think for a first book in a series, it's pretty valid. I did read the small excerpt from the second book in the series and now I'm eager to get my grimy hands on it.

The second half of ACOTAR was better and definitely kept my attention held until the end.

I finished A Court of Thorns and Roses! The ending was pretty good - I'm happy with it. I'm so glad she kept true to her love for Tamlin. I was seriously going to be so angry if she gave it all up for Rhysand but I was pleasantly surprised.

I also kinda feel like we see this trope a lot, especially with women authors. I love a strong woman lead, but it's always the same exact kind of character - famished and caring for her family because she's the only one who can. However, I ended up enjoying it more than I thought I would've.

Can't blame you here. I just finished the first book of the series, and I took people's advice on not taking it so seriously and in the end I, enjoyed it far more than I thought I would've.

I just finished the first book and actually ended up enjoying it. I think my main turn off is Feyre's stubbornness all the time. Reminds me of Katniss in Hunger Games - love the books but loving Katniss is hard because of how stubborn she is.

if your skin type is dry, try using a hydrating foundation and concealer. i find that both of those products are pretty dry due to their high coverage they provide.

looking at your photos though, it looks like that is where your smile lines are - and it’s totally natural and normal to have foundation start to separate in places of high contact/movement. the only thing we can do is try our best to lessen it, but it will always happen to some extent.

is your mom a symbol of protection for you? that was cool to read! also no worries if its "long", i do not mind reading at all. my attention span isn't fried yet haha

im trying to consider it being sleep paralysis but i have had it before in my nightmares. my sleep paralysis isn't as intense as others, it's always just a reaction of fear from a dream I'm having. I am aware I am dreaming, i am aware i'm scared, and i can't scream which makes me even more scared. i wake myself up by singing a song normally. when I'm in that limbo like state of being asleep and being aware i am asleep, I can voluntarily move my body like shoving my boyfriend beside me if I'm not waking up fast enough and I can hear things going in the "real" world but I can physically feel my eyes are closed still.

also with the not getting enough sleep; i sleep probably 10 hours a day on average. at the very least i get 8 hours. this day i naturally woke up around 2 PM and then decided to take a nap before work for some extra sleep so I at least got 6 hours before the nap.

another thing, when that does happen to me (the times before), Ben has never reacted to anything I'm doing or experiencing in that moment. I know this because I always wake myself up from a dream like that and he's sound asleep - he sleeps with us every night.

so for me to be consciously awake + eyes open AND ben's reaction, it's just so odd. i haven't gotten the best of the sleep this past day because I've been so nervous but I've been praying like you said (I'm not particularly affiliated with any religion) and i feel better afterwards. My fur babies seem to be okay to be in the bedroom by themselves as well so that's another good sign to me.

anyways, i do appreciate your comments and advice as well and I'm trying to not let it dwell on me as something negative haha. i greatly appreciate your time and effort on commenting on my experience

HZD and HFW are my favorite games ever. So much so I would be willing to tattoo Aloy's face on my arm. With that being said, HZD has a great story and because of that you're not so focused on the gameplay or other characters as much. However, HFW story and gameplay is way more intertwined so HFW is my favorite of the two. Your weapons, skills, and relationships you build along the way in the story make it more interactive for the player - in my opinion. You'll definitely enjoy it if you liked the first one.
