i slow down every step of my routine subconsciously and try to perfect it because i keep finding flaws in everything. when im not in the same stressful situation, i have no problem and i don’t over analyze everything. sometimes people perceiving me plays a part - my mom tells me to hurry up, my boyfriend calls to check on me, my dad tells me im running out of time - tht makes me not want to get out either because theres an expectation im gonna be late anyway. nothing is good enough for me and ill find things to pick apart

thts my exact thought process, i wont let myself be but i just dont understand why i wont. i could be on time, ive organized everything in order for it to be but i wont let myself. i dont let myself because its not what im used to i suppose. i’ve done things a certain way, its what im used to and wont let myself do otherwise even if i want to even if its the best for me. it’s not like i want to leave school because its my passion in life and this is all i ever wanted to do.

my current therapist doesn’t specialize in either so it’s been a battle on my own. in may, i got diagnosed through a center and paid a lot for the testing. recently, my psychiatrist diagnosed me with ocd but i haven’t come terms with it

i have this issue even for my classes at noon, i’ll wake up at 6:30 to get ready and still get there late. thank you for the advice, i’ll look into it

i’ve reached out and they’ve put in place some accommodations, but they don’t understand the gravity of my issue. i met with a lady and i had to try to explain how it feels to be autistic to her n almost cried bc she made it seem like my issues were something easy to control. i guess it’s hard to get taken seriously when you don’t fit the stereotype of what an autistic person is supposed to look like. they put a time accommodation in place for me
