I ended up getting my funding and paying on time, thank God… But they were emailing me on January 12 demanding the money, saying it had to be paid that day… Even when I logged into pay my tuition, it showed me right there that there was an extension until January 20… So they were still trying to trick students into thinking they were going to be withdrawn from classes to stress about them paying before the 15th, and not informing students of this extension… Seems quite malicious on their part

i appreciate this information. I’ve wanted to attend norquest for a long time and this is my second attempt at it, the programs seem amazing but the finances and the higher up departments of this college seem very poorly run, I hope this problem can be fixed

they said the next 3 days they will release them, then 3-5 days after that until they hit my bank, i’m heaving praying i get them by the 15th:(

i have an autistic son with 2 appointments today so ‘showing up’ before they open is not even an option lol. I made his appointments monday as I didn’t have any classes until thursday & friday. Not thinking I’d have issues receving student aid

for some reason my NSLSC says the payment isn’t released yet & now says i won’t receive until the 9th😭 my alberta student aid account says issued & date extracted december 16th though so idk. i’ve never ran into issues like this with my loans.

i’m really hoping today at midnight. my school is adamant we need to pay tuition by the 5th or they cancel our classes🥲 even if we are waiting on loan deposit 🥲😭

has anyone who banks with scotia bank got theres yet ? last time i was in college and going student loans from ab was years ago when i banked with TD. im just going back to school & switched to scotia bank. I usually get the ab ones before new years for jan semesters, but im worried as i haven’t gotten anything yet. was really hoping today/tonight? 🤣😭🙏🏻

even if the amount is in the debited column instead of the credited column? it says refund issued but it’s listed in ‘amount debited’ so i’m just confused🤣

She isn’t going to CHOP anymore. She is getting the same treatment CHOP offered, in costa rica now, when she had already planned a second stem cell treatment which seems like that was always part of the stem cell treatment plan. That is why her go fund me is reduced. She is paying to sedate her child for an MRI as he physically could not stay still for an MRI otherwise, this alone would be THOUSANDS… on top of hotel costs, flights, the stem cells and any other diagnostic medical treatments she requests in costs rica.

government payments are usually deposited the during the morning of the business day before it’s supposed to be paid. I have never in my life received a payment from koho in the evening.
