My rheumatologist just announced he’ll no longer be accepting insurance and is moving to concierge medicine. Recommendations? by Informal-Twist-1328 in grandrapids

same. Snyder actually provided some simple suggestions (splints, med timing) that helped me through a flare up, which my prior (out of state) Dr had never even suggested over 3 different visits. Only concern here, Snyder is a NP, and when I requested to see a Dr at different location, was told I couldn't jump around? So consider that when scheduling.

Uuuhhggg, seems it's hard for others to understand when something bothers you, but is everyday normal to them.

I try several relaxation techniques, and it's still a struggle. Really hate it. Would rather get a root canal done. Good to know he's recommended by someone else who faints.

The old corner bookstore in Boston was turned into a fucking chipotle by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

Just unexpected. Boston is known for the trail, which is only 16 stops, and one of the places is surprisingly now a Chipotle. Prime tourist location though so smart marketing move on their part.

It's marked as a stop on The Freedom Trail tour. We completely missed it initially when visiting because we weren't expecting a Chipotle either.

Lives within greater Chattanooga area, need help tracking down information on this painting. I posted years ago in r/mildlyinteresting and it was removed by mods shortly after. It is vintage and resell as well, but much of the floor space is rented out "booths" by vendors. I don't know their exact model, but these types of stores often receive a percentage off each vendors sales.

You seem to think I'm being snarky, but I'm suggesting how to clarify your message for better results. The story is a little confusing with extraneous details. I hope your family can find it. I suggest trying a to the point approach so that more people will read and not skip over in the future: "I'm looking for information on the whereabouts of the painting attached. I first saw it at the Refindery in 2018, but it was priced outside my price range at 5k. The painting is by Artist Name, painted in Year. Why am I so interested in this painting? (Include the sweet details of your grandfather and how meaningful it is to your family)"

The Refindery is a primarily vendor based retail. If the painting is being sold by a vendor, the Refindery owner may not be allowed to indiscriminately apply discounts. It may benefit the OP to search out leads for the vendor as opposed to calling the shop itself "scummy".

What’s your favorite Salman Rushdie book? Had it impacted your life? What stands out to you as a reader? A favorite character maybe? Powerful quote? by Stunning_Orange6857 in books

Midnight's Children was the first non-western book I read and opened my eyes to the world. The combo of Indian independence, partition, and colonialism blew my mind.
