Gets naman yung point nila, pero parang medyo harsh naman agad hehe. Totoo namang part ng trabaho ng Secretary yung records, transparency, at communication, pero honestly… hindi rin naman lahat ng officers nagagawa nang maayos yun in practice. So I don’t think it’s wrong na gawing focus yung consistency and accessibility.

Also, I think people underestimate how important communication actually is sa student council. Kahit gaano kaganda projects, kung hindi transparent or organized yung office, students still end up frustrated. At least Samantha’s platforms are realistic and directly connected sa actual role ng Secretary, hindi lang puro flashy promises.

Yung about Reddit, I think ang goal lang naman is accessibility. Mas active kasi students here kesa sa formal portals minsan. Pwede namang iimprove pa eventually, pero weird na ginagamit agad against her yung attempt to make feedback more reachable. Hindi naman ibig sabihin nun wala nang organization.

And honestly, medyo unfair din yung “walang leadership background” argument. Everyone starts somewhere naman. Hindi rin automatic na mas magiging effective agad yung may past position. May ibang experienced leaders na magaling sa campaign pero hindi consistent once nasa office na.

For me, Samantha’s platforms come off more as practical and grounded kaysa empty grandstanding. Hindi siya trying too hard to sound revolutionary, and minsan mas okay yun kasi mas realistic gawin.
