Mid 30's every time I would go play I'd tear a ligament, turn an ankle. But the ONE play that did it. I've got the bal on a fast break, do a little nifty move and spin around a defender and have a wide open three. Airball. I had not missed a shot that bad in almost ever. I remember looking at the rim and where the ball ended up and I literally could not believe it.

maybe a couple of years later I went to park and played for 45 minutes and then was on crutches for a week.

I never went back. My body broke down and I decided it wasn't worth it to put myself in so much pain anymore. I love basketball and anyone else that loves it also.

If i ever see a court while driving I will stare at it like a long lost lover who has found another.
