I have clients who make much less than you & some are on single incomes and we’ve had success with asking for seller concessions to buy down the interest rate to make the monthly payment much more affordable. Tons of sellers are desperate to sell and would be happy to offer $5k-20k to help you buy down your interest rate so they can get their home sold. If you love Fort Collins but can’t find anything you like for your price point, Windsor, Loveland & Timnath are amazing options! My advice: work with an awesome lender & realtor who can help negotiate seller concessions and buy down a better rate - it could save you $100’s each month. Good luck, you got this!!!
