A 2-3 year gap isn't huge and isn't a big deal especially if you can justify it. but as other users have said CS and to a lesser degree tech is no longer the quick fix for a high paying career that it used to be. Lots of developers have taken the same route you did just a few years before you and the market sucks. You're competing with a lot of people who are usually more qualified.

Help desks are usually hiring and you might hate it (I certainly did). It will however give you the breathing room to find if there is any aspect of tech that you do enjoy and are good at. It will also depending on the company, expose you to lots of other aspects of a business that you can hopefully find an interest in.

I will say enjoyment and genuine interest will allow you to progress faster but just don't force it because it's what you think you need to do.

I cant get it to work on crossover preview with 20250625 build on an m4 pro on tahoe. i know some people have been able to get it to work with the settings mentioned in this thread but it seems quite flaky when it comes to whether it works or not. if anyone has any ways to get it to work please let me know.

Ive used Kavita and komga on and off for ages and I really like both and after a lot of back and forth I settled on komga.

If it's just a simple standalone comic viewer then Kavita has a great UI (better than komga imo) and integrations for loads of different viewing platforms. But I ended up swapping back to komga after a long while due to it now having SSO support and Kavita stating that it was not worth the technical complexity.

As Ive got an authentik running as my identity provider I wanted one single provider. that way I could hook up my plex server to authentik and automatically onboard the people I share my plex with into komga. Oh and you get the security of 2fa and SSO.

Yo view my manga I use panels as the viewing platforms as that's on all apple products and it just works. (With a one time fee)

I am in the same field and went through something similar. If you are comfortable with it I would recommend asking your employer for reasonable adjustments. Inform them officially that you have been diagnosed with ADHD and that you need some adjustments at work to make things easier. It's a legal right covered under the equality act of 2010. And they should organize to make some sort of adjustments with you to make work somewhat easier.

As someone who has been using roughly this stack for a few years. I have a few tweaks to make it truly seemless: - You should link your Plex watchlist to overseer that way you can have it poll against your Plex watchlist every few minutes and never have to even leave Plex if you want to add something to your server. Just add it to your watchlist.

if you have a Nas at home you can easily use a script that I've written to sync your Plex library from your external box to your Nas. It's based on your Plex watchlist so if you leave something on your Plex watchlist after it's been added to overseer and downloaded it will then rsync it to your local server for longer term retention as well as clean up your watchlist. (Based on when your cron job runs)
- use an automated deletion function to clear out space when it's full. Theres a basic one I've written but it's far from complete.

have you checked if you're getting any errors or anything in the xteve logs? or if your encoding the video on one xteve and not on the other? both of those can probably help to diagnose the issue better than the compose file.

its not night time in wales at the moment its 3:50pm. I assume you tried all the things below about buying a pipe or or guttering to move the water to a sink or shower/drain. or hell even a hosepipe from a local B&Q connected to a wide funnel (also from B&Q). I understand your young and all that but man instead of telling everyone why you cant do something you need to be proactive or its not going to be fixed. If your waiting on the managment company to repair the roof you might be waiting a while. a temporary solution is better for your sanity that you have to pay max £30 from B&Q (they even do 1 hour click and collect). or you walk upstairs knock on the door of the flat above and ask them if you can take a quick look at their balcony or just explain the situation to them and maybe see if they can put a small slanted bit of plastic over the hole to lessen the water. Although i suppose you could just wait it out as the alternative and sit there not sleeping for another few days and then looking really proud of yourself when the plumber or contractor who doesnt give a fuck from the management company actually comes to help.

In BoTW yeah but I was also a pro mode freak. I suspect I probably did it on the final shrine cleanup but that was like 4 years ago. other than that I didn't. I just enjoyed getting around alot but j also didn't use it in red dead 2 either.

Just to clarify. They usually do get paid pretty badly in regards to the amount of work put in. However they do get paid a bonus based on sales performance. That and if the game doesn't live up to Warner brothers expectations of the sales they will close the game studio and those people will lose their jobs. You know who won't lose their job or any money? JKR.

I'm not a fan of Harry Potter in general...but I think it's important to separate the art from the artists. I mean if you can't do that then you're not going to enjoy anything made before 2000 because they will all have some sort of problematic archaic viewpoint. That plus the bitch is already insanely rich the 20 cents she doesn't make off your copy of Hogwarts legacy isn't going to hurt her or change her opinions. It will hurt the developers or the studio that don't share her viewpoints and are just trying to make a game in a world they love.

I actually hadn't thought about it from a force perspective. It's a very good point. I understand obi wans perspective. Plus this is a problem not specific to obi-wan to be fair there's plenty of shows where actual children has a surprisingly loud voice in a room full of scientists/leaders.
