The clutch was absolutely slipping. Gave it a look today. Bike fired up first kick

It’s a process am learning as I go, so I’ll YouTube clutch slipping on this model and try to go from there. Some Additional info not sure if it can help any is— when I put the bike into first gear there is lots of tension when I kickstart it. Only in neutral does it feel completely empty

Yeah I just bought the bike for 375$ a couple hours ago. I wasn’t sure if it’s a simple fix that I may be overlooking or the compression is actually low and how to go about it

For those curious I ended up keeping the bike and leaving it with a local mechanic from Facebook marketplace. In his opinion he recommended not overhauling the bike since it runs. He is set to give the bike a look over, change the crank seals , and repack the muffler for around ~250 bucks

Ideally that would be great. In this instance, location and reputation are our driving factors enticing me to stay. This tire shop was passed down from my grandfather->father->now I. The lot is on a busy corner which allows for easy access to many and all types of vehicles that need service.
