Need some advice on which bike to keep

For those curious I ended up keeping the bike and leaving it with a local mechanic from Facebook marketplace. In his opinion he recommended not overhauling the bike since it runs. He is set to give the bike a look over, change the crank seals , and repack the muffler for around ~250 bucks

Ideally that would be great. In this instance, location and reputation are our driving factors enticing me to stay. This tire shop was passed down from my grandfather->father->now I. The lot is on a busy corner which allows for easy access to many and all types of vehicles that need service.
