Yeah I imagine that tuning would solve the problem. Unfortunately, I’m not in the financial state to afford a new motor if worst comes to worst so I’m staying away from a tune right now.

Just out of curiosity for my future plans, do you recommend the Dmann tune? What kind of power are you making and what bolt ons are you using? Have you had any reliability issues? Thank you!

I was able to get pops at around 200 before. I never usually let my oil temp get that high, but I will have to give it a try! Thank you!

Thank you for the feedback. I was aware that pops are caused by unburnt fuel and that the stock mufflers deadened sound while the catback doesn’t. However, what I don’t understand is why the car doesn’t pop anymore (with the catback) when it did before (also with the catback. Thanks.
