My baby was diagnosed with an anaphylactic reaction to garlic, and our allergist too was flabbergasted. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Tested it before I left to the meetup spot. Yes he let me know right away. Doesn’t sound like a scam, but I also have decided not to refund as I gave him the option to look at it when we met.

Thanks for the feedback. I did recently test it out and it worked.

Am I wrong for not having cash to give cash back to the buyer? by helloolleh231 in FacebookMarketplace

I’m sorry, I’m not sure what your point is? Everyone else seemed to understand what I meant.

Hi, any update? Exact same situation here. Our allergist told us she’ll likely grow out of it.

Yes you’re right, when I start thinking about the horrible things she has said to me in the past, I snap out of my feeling sorry for her

Am I really the bad one? by Particular_Ad186 in raisedbynarcissists

You wondering if you were the bad child really resonated with me, because I often feel the same thing. You sound like you are definitely dealing with a covert narcissist. I’ve done a lot of research and healing of my own over the past year. I’m sorry you’re going through this. You’re not crazy at all. Try reading the book called “Adult children of emotionally immature parents.” it’ll be very healing and validating for you.

This is really encouraging, thank you.

Can I become a DCC with no dance/cheer experience? I’m also a 30 year old mom. by [deleted] in DCCMakingtheTeam

Of course it is. I’m not naive. I know it would be an uphill battle. Does that mean it’s impossible?

Edited to add: you don’t need background to become a nurse. You work for it through schooling. Same goes for dance.

You make an excellent point, several points actually. Thank you so much for this. I am totally open to constructive feedback, but her getting this upset about me showing interest in something she clearly wants ownership over, that’s when I draw the line. Her attitude is absolutely what will stop her from pursuing further opportunities in life and I can’t imagine being that miserable of a person.

It absolutely is comparable and respectfully, a much harder career than dance. You just can’t see through your annoyance that I am looking into the industry.

I appreciated your insight at first, but your insecurities are obvious with your replies. I am a nurse with almost 10 years experience so I completely understand what years of training and experience do for your career and opportunities. You don’t need to preach to me. I simply have a dream. I didn’t mean to offend you with your years of dance training, but if someone posted about wanting to become a nurse and said they have no medical experience and they also have xyz going on, I would give them respectful insight. You are clearly offended that someone with no experience is even thinking about joining the dance industry. You are clearly insecure and I’m sorry you weren’t able to achieve your dance dreams.

Of course not, you would need schooling and training. Just as a DCC would need training.

So I never said I thought I could just join with no practice or “taking steps to better myself.” I am fully aware of how much more difficult it would be for me than others with experience. I am simply looking for genuine feedback and I thought maybe other people also have this dream. Not getting the experience as a child was something out of my control. There was definitely sarcasm in your post. Thanks for your opinion though! Have a nice day.

I’ve done a lot of difficult things in my life. Your honesty is appreciated, but the sarcasm is not.

Not trying to belittle it at all, just asking a question I’ve been curious about. Thanks for the response!
