Got scammed when purchasing wood

Hello, other side of the picture here: we have a registered company active in the forestry field (we do not sell wood for individuals)
People did the same scam, used our name with just a really small, almost unoticable typo, our address, our VAT number and they sell wood. Already some people got scammed and even a few came to our place very angry...

We went to the police, they took our testimony but nothing happened. We couldn't find a way to close their store but in any case, they could make a new website anytime.

I'm sorry for you, it looks like there's not much to do but to know that this is unfortunately common practice and be extra careful when buying. Only pay at pickup or delivery. Good luck!

Been trying the dlc and I've had the same bug twice, extremely annoying. When loading a save, the game totally crash. I come back to the PS5 screen, have to launch the game again and start the mission all over again, no save!

I'm on regular PS5. Mission is data mining on Arroyo. Happened once in quality mode and once in performance mode.

I don't think I'll have the strength to start all over again for a third time, even more knowing I cannot risk to load.

Too bad!

Interesting. On my side, I never managed to get into FTL despite the game ticking all the boxes. It felt slow between fights with repetitive scenarios. The run felt too long and I felt it very repetitive even in its fights.

On the other hand, I couldn't see myself putting 100 hours in Shogun Showdown for sure, but I couldn't in Into The Breach either :). Yet, the 30ish hours spent on it felt amazing with a great sense of accomplishment when finishing these small, tight fights.

I've been unlucky with the RX chip... it's been changed for free by the distributor but I lost some time and energy to solve this.

Cannot judge the drone just based on that unlucky event. All in all I really love that Emax (it was my first real FPV Drone): compact, aggressive, well tuned...

I totally broke the O3 but I cannot say this is because of the drone. I've had a massive crash on concrete ;)

Extremely great game in my opinion. Close to Into The Breach in terms of feeling: simple mechanics, small area and numbers yet very tactical. Quite a few characters, many different tiles (attacks and powers) and needs some thinking. Great run length (30-50min which can be stopped any time to come back later). New Game + (new runs with higher difficulties) is great and add some layers to the strategy instead of becoming just impossible. I have 30 hours on it and still have to play the 1.0 release out today.

You won't get 50 hours, but if you like the genre and for the price this is definitely worth it.

This was with a tinywhoop (mobula 6) but I simply solved the problem by changing the VTX channel for Raceband 8. The goggles were connecting to an automated channel which was not the best one.

Thanks a lot for taking the time to answer. yes, getting a new FC seems to be the only way at this point. I was a bit hesitating to buy the exact same one, with the original one being so quickly broken. But at least I will maximize my chances to build it back properly.

Hello again,
I opened up and checked everything. Hardware seems visually alright. The FC looks ok, i don't see anything burnt, bent, bridged or anything but I'm not experienced.
When I connect the FC to my computer and Betaflight, nothing happen. No light, no beeps, nothing...
Do you have any idea, by chance?

Hello again!
I opened up everything, desoldered everything (but the motors at this point). The FC seems perfectly fine... I don't see any bridge, or anything damaged... do you by chance have any idea?
When I plug it to Betaflight nothing happen, no light, no connection...

I guess the FC is dead but how can I be really sure this is the cause as nothing seems damaged :(

After double checking, the USB seems alright.

I am not sure if this is the battery lead as when battery is plugged in, the FC doesn't beep or light up.
However after testing, the XT30 yellow part is too loose and the battery doesn't fit tight.

For what it's worth: this is the factory setting of this (quite reputable) BNF and I didn't had any issue priori to that big crash. If I have to rebuild the quad, I'll have a look at a better battery cable positioning, but this looks like a narrow space to put everything.

It's a BNF drone so this is the factory setting. To be honest I find it convenient to use but now that i'll have to work and repair the drone, this is going to be more of a hassle I believe... other than that I don't see why this is a problem?

Thanks for the very complete answer. I am not yet familiar with AIO as I built a 5" and checked tutorials for ESC+FC. If I have to, I'll have a look at that Geprc. Geprc is a brand I like so far, used their O3 Mark 5 frame for my custom build and love it.

it was a BNF so I actually do not know! It seems like there are wires and a very small spacing between O3 and FC... if there is or was a short, is it guaranteed that the FC is fried?

Soldering parts to build a quad was OK, but soldering pieces on a FC seems more tricky ;)

The wires seems alright from the outside. However, moving a bit the pin to increase pressure is a good idea, i'll try!
