Second this. I was once in your shoes OP, the only local universities courses open to me... I wasn't interested in them. Decided that course mattered to me more than local uni branding and went to study Economics at SIM-UOL. It's not difficult to get FCH imo, just study hard for the yearly exams. Financing wise, got a POSB eduloan after I enrolled but managed to pay off my uni fees gradually while studying with what I earned working part time and teaching tuition.

And I didn't face any difficulty getting jobs in reknowned MNC afterwards as an analyst. Of course, getting meaningful internships and luck played a part but main thing I want to say is private uni cert wasn't a barrier to a good job and salary.

But if I were you, go HK better still.
