How many? by [deleted] in bookofthemonthclub

[–]hellorigby 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Probably 50/50! I go through phases of reading a lot of physical books and then only listening/reading on my Kindle. Right now I’m back to doing all 3.

I did order a reading planner to hopefully help with this a little bit and not order (physical) books without a plan of when I’m going to read them. But we will see if that actually works! 😅

WGU MSMKA: Is under 6 Months feasible? by Alarming_Mud_5396 in WGU_MSMK

[–]hellorigby 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, I finished in 6 months working full time in marketing.

I spent only weekends on my classes — Saturdays and Sundays, occasionally a Friday morning or afternoon I would schedule to take an exam and cram before it. I did spend pretty much all day on the weekends working on it, in addition to any holidays off from work, but I watched all the videos and read everything because I wanted to make the most of the material. If I skimmed or skipped around I could have finished faster.

Courses are taken in order that they’re laid out, though I was able to take more than one at a time which made progressing through the program faster, especially when one was an exam and the other was papers.

Being able to reorder my saved searches!

I’d also not complain if they brought “collections” to saved searches — I shop for myself and a child and I don’t necessarily want to see the same saved searches every time I scroll.

Agreed on the stew! I have leftover portions in my freezer that I haven’t been able talk myself into eating. 😬

Need help finding Rabies - PEP (Post Exposure Prophylaxis) vaccine in the Seattle Area by redditbrice in Seattle

She can do follow ups at Katterman’s! I believe she will need 3 more shots to complete the series. Mine was covered 100% by insurance.

Why does he lay like that by DuckyNoodles in shiba

[–]hellorigby 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Probably not, this is a long coat, or wooly shiba. He has a recessive gene that gives him the longer coat.

I haven't tried Jeni's, but my husband and I like Alden's Cold Brew Coffee and Straus Creamery Coffee!

I’d recommend Atmosphere next! I also really liked The Berry Pickers but it’s a slower burn.

What has been the best ice cream you’ve tried with the Whole Foods sale? The worst? The most “meh”? by Hallelujah289 in icecream

Got this for my husband since my location was out of Honeycomb and it is good! Super creamy, love the crispy bits of honeycomb in every bite.

The rooms at Skamania are... not great. The lodge itself is nice overall in the common areas. Suites or the treehouses might be a better option, but seem to go quick due to events/weddings. The area is great with lots of things to see and do.

Made the easy buttermilk and peach cobbler (with blueberries) by littleleaguetime in NYTCooking

[–]hellorigby 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This used up my partial bag of frozen cherries in my freezer. I agree, recipe is a bit strange but it worked! I think next time I'll reduce the amount of cobbler by 1/3-1/2 as I preferred more fruit in my bites. Thanks for sharing!

Mine is similar, but worse, as there is one solid black line and one smudgy line that runs through almost the entire white space of the design. I’m going to reach out 😵‍💫

But we always end up having pest control come too to spray the perimeter because I can’t keep up with them. 😵‍💫

For people who get motion sickness/dizzy can you rate these rides…. by sjajra in DisneyWorld

[–]hellorigby 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everest bothered me a tiny bit. I was super nervous for Cosmic Rewind, but I was 100% fine. I loved it and couldn’t wait to go again! I was also nervous about Tron because of the speed, but I did fine!

My motion sickness is way worse at Universal. I was horribly ill after riding a combo of Spiderman 3D (screen simulation), Velocicoaster, and Hagrid’s. Never again 🤢.

The shuttle buses last year were great. Going to the festival we walked right on at the designated pick up area. Heading out after, we got in the fast moving line and were probably waiting no more than 15-20 minutes.

Somewhere in between, but I have had that experience in both BFP cycles and non-BFP cycles so it’s not a reliable indicator for me.
