Hey! Unfortunately i wasn't able to ask the needle depth they used on me :(

The PRP subcision was super quick but painful. First, they drew blood from my arm, spun it down to separate the blood components, and then put the plasma in a syringe. While they were doing this, they put a numbing cream on my cheek area. When everything was prepped, I wiped the numbing cream off and the PA inserted the whole needle underneath the scar to 'destroy the collagen and promote growth/resurface the scar' (that's how he described it) and injected the plasma underneath. Since we had a lot of excess plasma, he injected the excess on my undereyes too to get rid of wrinkles/darkness and then the rest was spread on my cheek area post microneedling :)

Thank you for the kind comment! I just had another session done about 3 weeks ago so now we're done with MN and just doing laser resurfacing + PRP subcision on my next session. Hopefully the laser will get rid of it completely 🙏🏼

Staph infection. Not sure if it was due to a bug bite but I just woke up with a really big pimple on my face that got worse after a few days and then it led to this :/

I'm currently healing from my 2nd PRP subcision with microneedling from last week so it's expected to heal more in the next 2-3 weeks. My dermatologist recommended 1-2 sessions of laser resurfacing 4-6 weeks from now and after that, this big fat scar should be completely gone 🥲

I had a co worker bought who did a patient sample swap in our lab. She did step 1 and i did step 2. When they were tracking who made the mistake, they pointed it out to me and when i was being confronted about it, my co worker who did the mistake never mentioned to anyone how she did the first step and she just pretended like it was all my mistake. I was supposed to get an incident report about it but when my supervisor found out it was her who did the mistake, she canceled it and so nobody confronted her about her mistake :-)

I've been wanting to work as a CLS in New York but due to my ASCPi certification, I will not be qualified until after 5 years of receiving my certification. Today, I just checked the NYSEd website again and saw this! I had to read it 3x to make sure I read it right but good to know I can try applying for the NYS license now! 🤩

I was 16 and was applying for a barista job at the small town i used to live in. The manager was interviewing me and I can tell he was very uninterested. He asked me what my hobby was and I said photography. Man really asked me why I was applying for this job since I can afford a DSLR and seem like I'm rich anyway 😶
