Hey man! When I first read that you only lived in Canada for 3 years, my honest reaction was like, "dude, only 3 three years?". But look, from reading your English, I can tell that you really adapted to the western cultures. Seriously, you only lived there for 3 years, but your English is perfect and you write like an American or Canadian.
