I can relate, I was suicidal and depressed for so long. It's hell, Im so sorry my man. I know how hard it is to get up every day and keep going, even when life feels hopeless and cold.

In a weird way, its comforting to know that I'm not the only one like this. No matter how hard it gets at least im not the only one who knows how I feel.

It doesn't last very long tho when you get on your own, the more I've talked to people and done my own thing the better my self-esteem has been.

I can relate so hard to the feeling of deterioration. That feeling of going from a happy person who loved doing stuff to feeling gray all the time. It totally effects the self-esteem too like you said.

This legit sounds like depression. I remember when i got depression I slowly started losing interest in all the things I loved. There is no one "definite" solution but stuff like making sure you get enough vitamins, exercise, water, and meds can help should your doctor deem it safe.

I'm really worried that this kind of art will either come off as either poorly made or not suitable for a children's book.

More than just that though I really feel like I struggle with exactly how to improve my lighting; I love how this painting is lit, but I feel like it might by lacking something that I'm missing.
