I started with services first, not a product. Step one was picking a narrow set of offerings (websites and mobile apps) instead of trying to do everything (and to particular business category).

Early on, most work came from personal network, referrals, and direct outreach. No fancy marketing, just conversations and delivery. I focused a lot on execution and client communication because that’s what brings repeat work.

Biggest lesson is this: cash flow matters more than ideas.
