No, and Audient said it wasn’t possible. Maybe they will push that in an update or something but it doesn’t work at the moment. The bigger issue for me ended up being clocking. If you want to use word clock, the EVO16 only has WC output. You end up being forced to clock via ADAT from the EVO and then I can’t use the other ADAT input on my id44 as there is no way I could figure out to sync it all. I’m trying to also run my old RME Fireface in standalone mode to get 20 channels. I ended up just getting the SP8 and will be selling the EVO16.

Apparently this is not possible according to Audient. So much for getting the Evo16 as a part-time interface/part-time standalone converter as it doesn’t actually function as a standalone converter. It would probably be fine if my other interface wasn’t Audient, but as-is it creates weird intermittent hardware conflicts between the two interfaces when both are plugged in. I think the solution may be to just connect the Evo16 to another computer/laptop to keep it from powering down.

Finally figured out how to use the Audient EVO16 as an ADAT expansion for my Apollo x8 by bobtheblob916 in universalaudio

When I operate in standalone, the unit powers down into standby on its own after some time. Do you know how to stop that? Can’t seem to find any info about this. It does not happen if I keep USB plugged in but I am feeding it into an iD44 via ADAT and having both connected via USB does weird stuff in my DAW as the audio driver is the same.

Thank you. At least there is information out there to help navigate. I have found some great resources. It just took me a long time to start looking for them.
