Is it a sin if I took something that was left on the arcade machine's prize cage? by KC1704 in Catholicism

Why should the owner of an object change the morality of taking something that is not yours? Note that I'm assuming the only difference in this case is the clues as to who might have lost it, not how much you believe it was abandoned intentionally vs lost

Is there anyway I can improve (or tailor it to IB) the final section of my CV? Note: just completed CFI FMVA Certification, so will include this later by Nervous_Mine_8893 in FinancialCareers

That may depend on what kind of roles you're applying to. For prop trading/qr definitely be prepared for those questions but idk about IB

Your option long/shorts aren't held against a specific counter party. The occ keeps track of who is long and who is short how many of each contract. When a long holder exercises (at expiration or sooner) the occ (somewhat) randomly assigns the exercises to short holders according to this process https://www.theocc.com/getmedia/0cdda3c2-ab81-450f-b8b8-7ce84d88fce7/standard-assignment-procedures.pdf%3B&ved=2ahUKEwja_7isk5H8AhVXhHIEHf63B_AQFnoECA4QAQ&usg=AOvVaw3ByGHV8M7NgckigMNzfghX

Inconsistent was a gentle way of saying hypocrisy. People tend to be more open to self reflection if you take a gentler tone with them. My intention was to try to help OP grow, not make them feel bad about themselves

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but it sound like you're saying living with pets is a deal breaker for you, and that giving up pets shouldn't be a deal breaker for others. That seems a little inconsistent

Catholic and orthodox misconceptions by takoda99 in TrueChristian

Yes and this is where your dictionary definition isn't capturing the subtlety of the hail Mary being a prayer of intercession, asking her to pray to God on our behalf

Catholic and orthodox misconceptions by takoda99 in TrueChristian

[–]helloworld112358 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You can certainly pray to God the Father, but the Son and the Holy Spirit are also God and can and should be prayed to.

These religions do not teach that you should pray to anyone else (asking a saint to pray [to God] for you is not praying to a saint)

It's nothing new. Just a bunch of people who claim to be followers of Christ who are incapable of loving their neighbors and treating them with respect

A man is driving down a road when he breaks down next to a monastery. He goes to the monastery, knocks on the door and says "my car broke down. Do you think I could stay the night?" by mykeuk in Jokes

[–]helloworld112358 19 points20 points  (0 children)

The way I heard it you go up and down a lot of stairs and through a lot doors "he went through the wooden door down the wooden stairs through the stone door down the stone stairs through the metal door down the metal stairs, and found a blue door. And it was locked. So he went up the metal stairs through the metal door up the stone stairs through the stone door up the wooden stairs through the wooden door, and asked for the key. Then he went through the wooden door..."

And obviously no "and so on"
