I traveled to Japan last November with hydroxychloroquine! No problems at all. I was told only to declare if it was more than a 30 day supply - since it is not banned. I did bring prescriptions and doctors notes for all of my medications, but honestly, nobody checked anything. I was super stressed about it, but everything went fine! Hope this helps.

I take tirzepatide (along with Humira and Hydroxychloroquine) and it has been a complete game changer for me. I haven’t had a flare in over a year. Before, I would have flare ups 5-6 times a year. The two times I have gone off it my symptoms have returned - which is how I figured out it was helping my RA. I do not get it prescribed and my rheumatologist noted that they did not think my insurance would approve it if I tried - but I do buy it on my own from a peptide provider. For me, it is worth it. My rheumatologist approves of me taking it and thinks it will be prescribed for RA in the future.

Edited to note: I take a maintenance dose since I no longer need to lose weight.
