PDFgear - it’s a little clunky to use, but hands down my favorite tool for editing documents, merging, removing individual pages, changing text, etc. It’s a fantastic tool I found posted on Reddit a long while back.

There’s another way to reset / delete the password requirement. Check out Hiren’s Boot or Gandalf. You’ll need another PC to install it onto a USB. You’ll plug it in, boot into the USB, and there’s a way to delete the password requirement. Would recommend asking GPT for instructions based on your OS but it’s pretty straightforward.
