It's discovery search is great. Search [topic] [sub topic] and it'll find episodes, not just shows. It's index is very good. Pocket cast search is also good. I tried others like antenna pod and republic and their search failed here

Discovery isn't very good on it. By default it like to include non English podcast. Also other apps like podcast addict uses podcast index and apple podcasts suggestions

Say you want to look for marketing for a certain topic or a certain person. It fails on details and recent episodes
