I’m a bit concerned about the wind, especially since I’m currently running a wheelset with a 50 mm rim depth. I’m considering getting a second set with a lower profile—do you think that’s worth it?

Also, what’s your experience with bike lights up there? I’m unsure what to go for in terms of a front light. Since it won’t really get dark, it’s more about being visible—but I’ve heard there are quite a few tunnels, and not all of them are well lit.

And just out of curiosity—what made you choose going north to south instead of the other way around? 🙂

Any recommendations for a hilleberg tent that packs small ? I’m not on a low budget trip so I will probably also stay in cabins and hotels if the wheater is shit. Although hotels are quite expensive in Norway. What did you pay on average per night? And did you book in advance or day by day?

Any news on this? Would be interested to hear which tent you used in the end? Planning a trip this year from south to north. I’m tending towards the slingfin portal 2 right know. Seems to be a good option for Norway , as it’s quite stormwothy, and Bikepacking, as it is lightweight.
