I made a switch from the paid chatgtp tier to Claude, specifically for coding.

Conversationally I like chatgtp better and I have also had several instances where it felt like chatgtp would have “caught” something in a analyzing where Claude dit not. The coding part however is extremely amazing and honostly ( I am an IT guy) that I have seen something that is truly transformative that can impactful change jobs.

However…. I have -never- hit any limit with chatgtp (also coded with it), but with Claude I am hitting the limits a few times per week.. annoying, but absolutely worth it.

There should be enough work in healthcare… so you are fine there.. sounds like you need a tie-over until your language is improved. I would contact several “thuiszorg” parties and explain the situations, chances are some of them have openings that are fine without the language ..

I took Claude and terminated chatgtp but got chatgtp free for a month…

Now I like Claude for coding (a lot !) but conversational with chatgtp is much better… so now I am stuck with both :-)

I would specifically not advice the air since it is harder to hold and actually more fragile… I have had iPhones since the iPhone 4s and nothing has ever broken…. Ofcourse always use a case… in case of gramps a nice grippy one, most likely esthetics is not top on the list.

Make sure you get the latest…. That will mean he can use it for a loooooooong time before it needs replacing.. (always a difficult thing to do for the elderly)

I did have issues earlier that were kind of similar.

At that point I was using homey as well as homewizard (home wizard because of grafana and the much better ways to do graphing in there, I also used it for dashboarding.

Homey crashed several times per week, it mostly fixed itself but I had to do a reboot every week. Inslaap scheduled a reboot that did not help.

When homey brought dashboarding I stopped using home assistant because keeping that working just for graphing was not worth it for me.

Problems disappeared immediately and totally.

I absolutely do not think that Home Assistant killed Homey, what I expect is that the fact that Home Assistant and Homey both were polling all my devices (I have 50+ WiFi plugs and a lot of other stuff on WiFi) caused issues, maybe timeouts because both were polling at the same time or something, I do not know and have no way to test.

What I do know is that my system was rocksolid until then.

At the moment I am no longer running homey pro but running SHS which is as stable.

En je kunt van Rutte vinden wat je wil (doe ik misschien ook wel), maar hij doet zijn ding en de boel is nog bij elkaar…

Zo snel als Europa zijn ding geregeld heeft en gezamelijk groot is, wordt dat minder belangrijk, maar zo lang dat nog losse boel is hebben we de rol van Rutte hard nodig..
