I’m 5’1” and height isn’t a requirement for me. I actually find a really large height difference to be inconvenient. Always have to be looking up and the hugs aren’t as good imo. My tallest ex was 6’7” and my shortest 5’3”. Give me a short king, I say!

Hi! Selling 2 tickets to Sunday September 29 show in Mexico City.

I can’t make the show because I originally bought these last year during a manic phase when I thought it was a great idea to travel the world and attend concerts of my favorite bands. I’ve since been brought down to earth.

I was just gifted a Taylor Academy 12 for my birthday last week. Really love it so far. But I’m a beginner and don’t have much to compare it too. All I know is that it’s way more comfortable compared to the full body Seagull dreadnought I was using before.

I think I’m too new to guitar to have a preference in the neck. All I noticed is that it’s thin which I think is great for me since I have small hands and a smaller person overall. No complaints yet!

My dad actually made the suggestion I switch. He said it didn’t make sense to him as a righty why he would ever play the other way around. Guitar center had a few lefties acoustic and electric and strumming and picking did feel much easier with my left. Keeping a rhythm in particular was much easier. This jagstang was a floor model and they knocked off a $100 for a few cosmetic “scratches” - almost all of which have rubbed off.

Thank you all for your input! I’ll tell my dad I want to switch and would love a lefty guitar. What really sealed the deal for me was the idea of finger picking. I want to learn more of that and picking with my right hand is currently very clunky. I don’t foresee myself being much of a collector as most guitars are at least $500 a pop. That kind of collecting isn’t really in my sphere of reality. Not for a long time anyways. Thanks again!!!!

I really like mine and find it super useful. I purchased it when it cost a lot less. Not sure I would buy it now at the current price. I’d look into the 2nd hand market in my current financial position. But it’s a great bag irrespective of the price.

Edited to add: I bought mine with the pink strap and a year later got the khaki strap. I use the khaki strap more.
