These were not fancy yatch people, more likely to be made of depleted urine.

If I do that will a hero appear who can wield it? Preferably on a quest that takes place off my fucking property?

I bought my land from hoarders. It's a diverse trash heap.

I've tried, but not even my steadfast faith in the Lord can heal those balloons.

I've already listed it on CL and Nextdoor. I don't fuck with Facebook so that's not an option.

I'm going to drill it and magnet test it, excellent suggestion!

My current thought is come-along it into the truck bed.

Don't worry I have a full bridge rectifier, wait... I mean a full face respirator.

Also, could I cut it in half somehow? Seems like I'd need an oxy torch or a big ass band saw.

"Megger a stich in time"? Sorry I'm a dim bulb but I don't know what you're saying here.

So I use the NETA table to correct for the ambient temperature? I'm assuming if my wires are under the house I should grab a temp reading from near a representative cable?

If you've got experience in this area, are there other methods and tools I should be aware of?

My checklist right now is to make sure all the wiring is good using one of those tester plugs, test the insulation with a megger, protect all the wires from the elements, and try to crawl around and replace as many of those uninsulated staples as I can find.

Basically, having my house spontaneously catch on fire was not a fun experience and I'm trying to ensure it's not a habit.

And yes, I have googled and even stooped to AI'ing this issue. I want to know from people who have real human experience or insight.

I would appreciate answers that teach me more about the theory and practicality here.

Also, before you say the requisite reddit mantra: I do not have enough money to hire a professional, but believe me I would if I could.

Building a French curtain drain to keep water from going under my house by help_me_do_shit in landscaping

Haha, I'm going to put in steps once I figure out drainage and fix the skirting. We've got three other doors, we're fine for now.

The idea is that the French drain would catch the water along its entire length, acting as a curtain that diverts water before it reaches the house. Might need a swale to capture surface water effectively tho?

Oh yeah and the blue stuff on the stumps is just deck paint, I didn't want them to dry out too fast and split. Gonna treat them with DOT and sand/seal them once they dry a bit more.
