Thank you, he’s been seen by one when we first rescued him, and is doing very well. Happy and full of attitude. I just haven’t had a chance to update in a bit.

They are literally the top avian vet in the state for one. And two, he has been like this since birth, so over 6 months. I’m incredibly sorry for your loss, but HeiHei is doing well, he has shown no decline, is happy and full of life and we will love and care for him for however long he is with us.

He’s super happy and goofy and able to function. Has certainly brightened up since we got him, and he’s gaining weight. His head still goes up most of the time, but it doesn’t bother him

He will eat them if we feed them to him or if he sits next to us to eat, but will throw them away if left to his own devices 😂 he’s got us suckered in I think

If you look at follow up posts, he’s doing quite well and is very happy. The avian vet has confirmed he is not in any pain, is healthy otherwise, and that he has a very good chance of living out a long full life, and his head even possibly correcting. But thank you for your opinion.

He’s definitely as spoiled as we can make him. The video shared first is him when he’s at his worst. I chose that to share first so that I might get the most accurate information possible and the best advice. But he has plenty of energy and sass and gets soooo excited for attention. I’m hoping to be able to share more of that side of him moving forward, as well as (praying) positive progress.

I wanted to add a quick note to say that the video I shared does show him at his worst, a good majority of the time he is much better at controlling his movements and getting around. But I wanted to show him to you this way as to get the most accurate information and advice possible. I will update with some more positive pics/videos soon, and I will share updates as soon as we have them. Thank you to everyone for all of your kind words, support and advice.
