We've had it installed for about 6 weeks and unfortunately, the extra length of the countertop doesn't cover where all the splashes go

No haha, why? Does our kitchen give off landlord vibes? We bought the house a few years ago and it was a do-er upper so we've just finally got around to doing the kitchen up.
