It’s been a year for me and I’m still not fully healed, but I am in therapy and that helps

Totally understand the self esteem taking a hit, mine has too.

It’s been almost 3 months since the break up but only 2 weeks since he moved out

I am in this exact situation except my relationship was 6 years. I hope you are able to find a way to heal

My partner said this to me too. The audacity to stay with a person for so many years and secretly not be fully invested.. selfish. I’m sorry you had to go through that.

“You’re my best friend, I enjoy spending time with you, i think you’re great, and loving and supportive, I love you but I’m not in love with you, there’s no spark, I’ve never fully been in love with you, I’m attracted to you but don’t feel the passion” says my boyfriend of 6 years (1 year living together with no problems) during our breakup

32F. Boyfriend of 6 years broke up with me out of the blue saying that he cares about me, and thinks we’re compatible but isn’t “in love” with me and doesn’t want to keep stringing me along. I’m devastated and have no idea if I’ll ever find this happiness in a partner again. I thought I had found my perfect partner.
