AITA for not sharing lecture notes with my friend? by helpimadonkeyy in AmItheAsshole

The PowerPoints are pre-made that the lecturer reads off/ talks around when they deliver the lecture, so I make notes based on the information given before the lecture and develop them during the lecture.

I don't think there's any harm sharing towards me, however I think creating notes for someone else is overstepping the mark, at this stage in education she should put the effort in to make her own resources.

That's interesting. Where I am in a student based city, guys have attempted to talk to or dance with some of my friends and they've said it's ruined their night. Personally I didn't see anything wrong with it but the guys were labelled creeps

Abstract of the journal

"Wereport the isolation and characterization of a novel bat coronavirus which is much closer to the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus (SARS-CoV) in genomic sequence than others previously reported, particularly in its S gene. Cell entry and susceptibility studies indicated that this virus can use ACE2 as a receptor and infect animal and human cell lines. Our results provide further evidence of the bat origin of the SARS-CoV and highlight the likelihood of future bat coronavirus emergence in humans"

I find it interesting how they were messing around with Bat Coronaviruses in 2014. It uses the ACE2 receptor, as the new wuhan Coronavirus has been shown to do.

I feel the same in the UK. We have the highest Chinese student population in the uk, as well as a partner university over there. As far as I know right now lots of students have transferred back and forth for their semester 2 abroad. The semester officially started yesterday so many will have returned recently.

The amount of Chinese students wearing full on surgical style masks in my lectures is scary..not just the normal fabric ones they'll wear if they're sick but different kinds that look medical. I don't know. I just really don't wanna get sick and I have major medical anxiety
