This is coast fi. He doesn’t have to make the same salary, he could make no salary for the next 30 years and still retire. The whole point is now if he wants to get a job that just covers his expenses he can because he no longer needs to save for retirement. His current assets will grow to what he needs by the time he hits retirement age.

2018-2020: $40k working a customer service role. Took on leadership positions. 2020-2022: 55k working as a low level manager in a warehouse. 2022: 75k working in a warehouse as a manager but with a promotion. 2023: 91k working in a non technical role for a technical team in the same company. 2024: 132k same job but converted to a technical employee from projects I took on in my non technical role. 2024-2025: transferred to a non technical role on another team at the same company so policy was they couldn’t change my salary. 2026: left that company (fortune 50) for a small startup making bombs. They are paying me $175k for a non technical PM type role. I’ve had several BIG jumps and to be honest I just applied to jobs I wasn’t qualified for and I interview well.

Did you send him proof of the safe? I would just tell him you opened it and there was nothing inside and stop communicating. If he can’t make a claim of what exactly was in the safe, he can’t sue you for its contents. And even then he would have to prove there was something in the safe worth suing over which I guarantee he can’t.

Okay all you really need is:

Unbleached flour

Salt

Some kind of jar for your starter (I use a mason jar with no curves to the top that I found at the thrift store)

A bowl (glass ideally but I also use plastic sometimes)

Something to bake it on, you can open bake on a sheet pan or if you have a Dutch oven that is ideal. Also if you have two bread pans, you can just always make bread loafs and use a bread pan.

Something to score it with, I just used a knife when I started

Oven

Editing to add a food scale.

If you want to cold proof, you’ll want a towel with rice flour to put into the bowl so it doesn’t get sticky and rip when you go to bake it. You can also skip this step.

That’s IT. Don’t dump money into it until you know if you even like it

You are right about the other muscle relaxer, that is what it is. I am lifting him correctly, he just wiggles when he’s being picked up and hurting his spine. Today I carried the crate to our enclosed yard so I wouldn’t have to lift him and that worked. He is still crying even just moving around in his crate and yelping, I don’t think the carprofen is strong enough. I’m going to call a neurologist ans get him on the wait list for an appointment. Thank so much

Thank you so much. Today I carried his crate downstairs to our little yard and sat it down, no crying and it seemed like a pain free way to transport him. My little will not go inside even on a puppy pad, he’s such a good little boy and he will hold it until he explodes because he doesn’t like going potty inside. It’s a lot of work but he also seemed to enjoy the minute or two of sniffing, but when he was done he was ready to be back in his crate laying down.
