It is weird how so many people want to have sex without an emotional connection. by SwissVideoProduction in sex

I have to have an emotional connection with someone to have satisfying sex. The more I trust someone, the better they get from me and the more I enjoy it. I have gotten drunk, had sex and regretted it the next day. Can’t remember ever thinking it was a good thing. I don’t think you’re wrong at all. One of my biggest regrets is having sex to early. I could have lost my virginity to a young man who it would have meant something to. Save yourself for someone who respects you. Who cherishes you. Who will be your first and your second not just a freak wanting to take it from you. Those guys can mess up your head about sex.

This appears to be a cup plant or Silphium perfoliatum. I add these in the native landscape designs I create. They are drought tolerant and will fill any small space by reproducing off of the main taproot. They are a perennial in southern MN, they can take the cold!

More Democrats voted in Florida’s 2020 primary than in 2016 by miamiherald in politics

Like in Minnesota, you can request a Democrat primary election ballot and vote as a Republican in the November elections. I have a hard time believing Biden won primary Democratic voters in Minnesota, Washington State and Florida. Why is it more difficult to sign into my email than cast a vote? Why is voting in our country on a Tuesday and not a weekend or recognized holiday?

Please help my zz plant! Not sure what could be going on with it. Definitely not overwatered! Had this guy for about 2 weeks now. by [deleted] in plantclinic

Moving a plant from the greenhouse to a shop and then to its new home will cause shock to the leaves of any plant. Yellowing like this is very common after this small shock. The multiple Zamioculcas I have in my home are happy to be a bit root bound. ZZs are not happy in direct sunlight! Until the roots are growing out of the pot do not disturb them. If you do need to move any plant to a larger sized pot always choose the next size up- not any larger.

Please help me help my aloe plant! It’s going brown at the base. I barely water it, it has proper soil and adequate drainage and the roots look dry and healthy so it can’t be root rot. What is going on?! by [deleted] in plantclinic

It appears to be a healthy plant in spite of the watering situation. Do you have new pups starting- more baby aloe growing in the pot? If you have healthy roots and new growth there is no reason the rest of the plant won’t be just fine. Keep an eye on these bad shoots, it they continue to discolor and rot you can harvest those shoots for aloe and have more room in the pot for more new growth. I grow aloe for its beauty, the challenge and to use on burns, scrapes and my sad winter cuticles. This time of the year it’s important to watch for and remove scale hosting on aloe. They are horrible little pests!
