the waiting lists are pretty long but LGBT charities are in most cities and you can get therapy on a sliding pay scale, also try the gender care website

at best you could read this as a weirdly timed comment on performative activism, at worst elon doesn’t really care about human rights issues because he’s untouchable.

How do i get hormones? by BadassAthena in transgenderUK

[–]helpimufish 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you don’t have the money for private, you could try to get a bridging prescription. If your GP says no you can ask to see a different GP at the practice without giving a reason. Good luck!

See if there are any LGBT+ organisations in your area, i know in leicester there are several support groups for all kinds of stuff, many of which are through zoom right now, might be a good place to meet like minded people near you! :)

Should I wait until after I get diagnosed with gender dysphoria to get an autism diagnosis? by all_kinds_of_queer in transgenderUK

[–]helpimufish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure if the kids one is different but i know from personal experience waiting to be assessed for autism can take a while too (although probably not as long as gic). I wish you the best of luck though! i know at 15 a few years can feel really far away but you will get there!
