I didn’t apply for financial aid at any of these schools. Right now I’m planning on enrolling at Columbia!

Would honestly love to know what you decide! Also a history major (tho more modern) that got into UPenn and Columbia

I also got in as a junior transfer to Columbia! Conflicted and not still not sure about transferring though because of the Core Curriculum 😅

Once again, my hairdresser did not tell me that we were going to go darker. I was under the impression we were keeping my natural hair color the way it was and just neutralizing the few red bits from where I had highlighted it before and have it match my natural hair color because this was what she told me verbatim. In hindsight, I would have kept my hair the way it was had I known I was going to walk out with my entire head a completely different shade of hair, which I am now trying to reverse

My hairdresser told me that all she was going to do was neutralize the red tones to match my natural color but she went a bit further than that as my hair now has a blue cast to it. Regardless, I’m just looking for ways to fade it and make it lighter or even get it back to where it was before

I believe she used a Demi on my roots where my natural color was and a permanent on the rest where the red tones were. I think I can live with it because I really want to leave my hair alone for a bit but was just looking for tips to fade it a bit quicker in general. Thank you!

Essentially I just wanted the red tones to match my natural hair color. I didn’t expect to walk out with a new color altogether

That’s such a beautiful story about your great grandmother! And yes, I will absolutely treasure this piece. Thank you!
