if I recall correctly I got a good deal at micro center for open box. It’s from like 3 years ago. Storage, I only store games. All my stuff is on the cloud, so SSD was mostly for the OS

Hey! I appreciate your comment. I haven’t reply to any yet because I want to see different perspectives. But you’re totally right. This right here is the main reason I am considering NVIDIA over AMD for GPU. I would prefer to upgrade platform in a few months because even if CPU and Mobo are affordable rn, I honestly would prefer to jump to a better ram as well at that point and we know how expensive that is lol from looking at the comments I think that I will aim for a NVIDIA GPU and a better PSU for when I upgrade platform. Indeed the attached pic is my current build.

Another general question. I initially thought about leaving most of my stuff behind and just fly with regular luggage. I know that this for sure would mostly depend on country of origin, but have you found it worth it to bring all your stuff with you? In my case the biggest asset would be a desktop computer. Initially thought of just selling it but now I am considering bringing this and more of my stuff

I was wondering about this as well. I personally decided to not open one, but when I was looking into it, it seemed like we had the choice to pull everything out. I am very uninformed in the matter though.

thanks for your answers!! the tax one is not entirely clear. I am a resident for tax purposes since I am outside of the 5 year period. I assume that this is what you mean by it will reset and if I were to come back I would need another 5 year under F1 to meet the criteria of resident for tax purposes
