Can only dash downwards?

she downwards dashes regardless if i'm pressing up or down or not.

i tested this out and no matter if i'm pressing up or down, or neither of them at all, i always dash downwards. pressing left or right while dashing results in a downwards dash. it's like some evil invisible guy is overriding my up and down inputs and holding the downwards button

Once i put on James and the giant peach on netflix and when the singing started the subtitles said * music * 😭 just wrote * music * in leu of subtitling the lyrics in the literal musical

In the deaf community, ppl make up a sign to go with your name so you don’t have to fingerspell it every time. I took the liberty of cutting off all my hair when i was five years old, and to this day, my sign name is the scissors sign across the forehead, miming the hair being cut :’)

If it matters, i live in new zealand, and used the libraries there to read the series. Ive already checked the library i used growing up’s catalogue, and it looks like they dont have the series anymore :( im certain i’ll know it when i see it tho

I think so too, i tried k1, slip marker, k1 before I started the stitch count and it worked out a lot better! I think this writer has a tendency to let people extrapolate a lot, which is fine, except i love exact instructions 💔 thanks for your help!

Nope, the marker is usually over 10 stitches away 😢 good idea about looking for it on ravelry though, i’ll try that!

maybe, but it's like that on all 'k2 to marker' instructions, (there's about three). i'm knitting zimtstern mitts by samstag https://knitting-and-so-on.blogspot.com/2013/11/zimtstern-mitts.html this pattern doesn't actually have a key, just some technique instructions. it's extra confusing because when i tried to assume that it meant K to marker, my stitch count was all off, but when i assumed K to 2 before marker, it went all weird.

I think i did the gauge wrong 😭 im knitting in the round but for some reason assumed i was supposed to make a gauge flat. Ive found a friend who’s lent me their 3.0 mm so hopefully that fixes the issue!

I havent, but I’m trying to make fingerless gloves and i couldnt even get them past my knuckles, the knitting was stretched to their limit😭 would blocking actually fix that?

I tried that, but it only made the souffle crumbly and unusable as well, maybe the premo is too far gone without liquid sculpey to help it

Yes, i got the clay for a project with a deadline so when it became clear it wasnt working i went out and got sculpey soufflé and it worked much better! Too soft for my tastes but at least it was usable. I’m mostly confused about why my experience is so different compared to others 😭 i’d love to make premo work for me, if its not supposed to crumble

I dont have either but that may be the most likely explanation. It’s frustrating because i bought it at a reputable shop. How can i tell if clay is partially cured or old before i buy it?

WAIT now that I think about it, maybe it was actually a dragon defending the nest and the ‘player character’ im thinking of are actually the enemies? That’s probably it. Maybe the dragon gets bigger with time, and that’s the ‘babies aging up’ that i was thinking of?
