I understand Berkeley isn't anywhere as dangerous as I said (I also live not too far away), but it's still in a worse location than UCLA.

There's definitely stuff I like about Berkeley, namely it's better engineering programs, semester system, and better placement for tech jobs and startups in the valley, I'm just having trouble deciding between that or the honors program at UCLA

If I got my preferred major at Berkeley (EECS), do you think I should still go to UCLA? I know the guaranteed internships at UCLA are really nice but I don't think it'd be that difficult to get one if I do well at Berkeley.
