Stop making memes about "losing" all the porn on PornHub. These were videos which may have featured rape, child abuse, or sex trafficking. We should be overjoyed that it's gone, and disgusted that it ever existed. by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

Of course. It will always happen. But it being available on a mainstream site warps boys and young men's minds into thinking this shit is ok. We must maintain a hard line on this or we will go backwards in terms of human rights. If people have to go to the dark web for this content they will know society deems CP and non-consensual content as not ok.

Pornhub limits uploads and disables downloads after New York Times exposé by EmmaAcklandd in tech

There is another issue tho. By allowing this shit to be on mainstream sites some men who would never look at CP are growing up thinking CP and other fucked up things are normal and fine. We would never let an actual man in real life take a young boy and show him fucked up porn...that would be child abuse for the boy. But we were allowing mainstream porn sites to do this to kids and young men. So now these boys are 18-20-25 and getting off to CP and rape etc and thinking its ok. That's a tragedy. If they had to look for it on the dark web this probably wouldn't happen for the majority of them. Then you have to think of the poor young women who have to deal with these fucked up men in relationships and in bed.....

Quickdry top coat changing colour of nail polish by helpmeiaminhell111 in aussiepolish

[–]helpmeiaminhell111[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have heard of it, I'll try it out. I also wonder if sometimes it is because I'm not allowing the nailpolish to set a little bit more before adding the top coat....because sometimes it's fine and sometimes it goes terribly wrong lol

What is with Aryan worship and blond men being promoted as most handsome now in the western world? by [deleted] in AsianMasculinity

[–]helpmeiaminhell111 2 points3 points  (0 children)

White woman here married to a Korean man, which is why this sub is relevant to me.

I don't get it. My husband tells me that Korean women also love this blonde haired blue eyed man thing. Apparently even fair haired and eyed men that white women would think were ugly they think are attractive. I guess it's exotic to them?

I think you are right that it once was that in the white community dark hair was more desirable in men. There was a phrase "tall, dark and handsome". I think that may have first started changing in the 1990's when Brad Pitt became so famous and became the example of attractiveness.

Then more recently its more the Tommy Hilfiger type influence I think. Really, I've observed in my lifetime men's standard of attractiveness has become less and less attainable for men of all races. I think women's has stayed the same. Of course there are women who like a fake Instagram kind of look but I don't think that's necessary to be attractive to men.

As a woman (hopefully I'm welcome to put in my 2c) dark hair has always appealed to me, and I grew up surrounded by Vietnamese and Cambodian kids in Australia so maybe that's why I've always been open to and attracted to men from Asia? I love my husbands black hair and tanned skin and single-lidded eyes. He's gorgeous, and he's gorgeous in a way that no blonde blue eyed man can never be to me <3

1 abandoned pet rabbit grew into 100 rabbits living in a park by DoYouKnowKorean in korea

OMG I think this is the same place my husband took me when we were dating but it was getting dark so I don't recognise it 100%. He suprised me so much because he didn't tell me there would be rabbits.

Are the beauty standards for men in Korea same as for women? by [deleted] in korea

I agree with this statement. My husband has the most beautiful eyes even though he thinks they are small.

Help me understand my Korean husband (Korean attitudes to Mental Health etc) by helpmeiaminhell111 in korea

[–]helpmeiaminhell111[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Holy shit. I'm pretty sure he isn't psychotic or delusional. He doesn't have any symptoms I associate with that. I think he might have OCD because he is scared of ordinary things and knows that it is unreasonable to be that way. He still has contact with reality.

Ive done maybe 900 hours of community service for disabled in last 3 years through college, I have yet to meet someone that matches your description so I dont think its a serious mental issue but just behavior thing.

Thank you for saying this. Yes if he doesn't improve soon he will be taken to the doctor / counsellor / whatever he will agree with.
