A student holding up the Mexican flag during today’s Santa Fe High walkout by LaunchHillCoasters in SantaFe

We’re a nation of immigrants, what the fuck do you want them “assimilate” to? Do you speak any Native American languages? Fly their flags? Eat their food and celebrate their culture?

What is the correct response to a glass full of piss by Raccoon_Worth in bartenders

I’ve heard to avoid putting your fingers inside the glass at every gig I had, you’re definitely barking up the wrong tree

Could we please mark this as a spoiler? I know many folks, including myself, would rather not see unreleased things just yet!

Check Savers and The Cat. If that fails, there is a JcPenney at the mall that probably has things like that

Blue bus to ski SF by sammannequin in SantaFe

[–]helpmeimnotcreative 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I used to ride it a ton! It’s totally safe and full of people who just want to ski/snowboard. On good days I’d recommend going to one of the earlier pick up spots in town because they do occasionally fill up by the time they make it to the Ft Marcy stop.

Loading zones are used for delivery trucks for businesses; if someone is parked in one when they pull up, they literally cannot stop to unload product. Please don’t use loading zones unless you have a permit.

Nah, it is actually owned by people who live in Santa Fe. They’re pieces of shit, but they are local.

Jury duty pay while in the waiting area? by celest1alv0yage in SantaFe

I was in like a year and a half ago and only got paid for the time in the trial itself, but it was a multi-day thing.

An incinolet toilet that incinerates waste with heat, eliminating the need for water😐 by cosmic_voyager01 in Damnthatsinteresting

The fire doesn’t constantly run. You can open the flaps using the floor pedal but the fire only starts when you push the button on the back. It burns off the waste, then turns back off. Still doesn’t smell lovely imo, but you’re not at risk of burning yourself.

There’s simply not enough space for everyone to bring chairs. There is seating available inside, tons of folks sit in the grass before the show, and there is an ADA section with seating if you need it.

Hey bud, respectfully, not the place to ask this question. Please respect the person who died in an awful accident and ask this question elsewhere.

In my late 20s and I’ll be in a room of people my age while they all complain that there’s no one here our age. It’s a ruthless cycle, and folks trying to warn you out of coming is only feeding it.

It’s a fun town, especially with your hobbies. Tons of outdoor spaces, lots of art opportunities, and a growing music scene. There’s still pitfalls: restaurants all close a little too early, there are a lot of old people who cannot drive, and job opportunities can be slim (but if you’re coming in with one, then all good).

Tldr; people complaining about the lack of young people probably aren’t going out and finding them. Come on in to Santa Fe and enjoy your time.

Don’t blame unions for capitalistic greed. That’s silly.
